Post Clearing Dashboard Lights
on: March 8, 2018 (GMT)

Hello,

I’m new to Torque and I’m trying to find out if it will do what I need it to. I was going to write the devs to ask but thought I’d start here in the forums. (Yes, I did search before posting but perhaps this is simply a wide topic or ???).

I’m looking for an app that will use a OBD2 BT adapter (like the 5th Gen CellAssist) to not just see faults but also to clear the lights on the dash. I will obviously need to clear the “check engine” light that comes on with simple faults (which I understand Torque can do) but I also need to be able to clear dash warning lights like the “Maintenance Required” that comes on at varying intervals to remind you to take the vehicle in for standardized belt changes etc (say at 90,000mi). Turning off this light seems to be something that’s harder to find a solution to. Can Torque do this? If not, is there an alternative that can? This is for a 2008 Toyota Sienna, if that makes any difference.

Thanks so much in advance! I really appreciate any assistance and info that could be shared. :)

torque will not do it

but i would suggest to go on your specific truck forum

normally all those maintenance warning can be reset without specialised equipment

mostly push this push that ..push brake and it would reset

but i could be wrong
