I have uninstalled and re-installed with the same result. The app currently shows version 1.1.49. :(

Weird, I know on mine it is just under Show your Torque ID”. Have you uninstalled your version and reinstalled, to make sure you have the latest? You seem to also be missing the Test Settings option.

Hi

1.1.49 is the lite version – that doesn’t have the ‘test webserver’ feature yet

Are you just saying the lite version doesn’t have the ‘test webserver’ but I should still be able to upload to your server (http://ian-hawkins.com/torque.php)?

The description for the lite version from the play store says:

* Data Logging functions including web upload and file logging, you can even upload data to your own web server from sensors you choose

In my post on the previous page I mentioned I don’t even have the e-mail field under settings and I asked if it’s because it’s the free version. So then you can’t upload to the web server in the free version. It’s a little confusing.

I still haven’t managed to get the full version to log to either Ian’s server or my own, so you’re probably better off waiting for Ian to fix it and release an update.

Not sure if anyone else has got it working. I’m running a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Orange.

Ok so I have been spending the past few hours trying to get this log thing working. I purchase the app last night and tried it out. It seems to work without issue, except the logging. I went through and triple checked the settings. Here’s a link to the screenshot of the settings for logging. I believe I have it set up correctly, including my email address, and default webserver url.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByKzLEKSLWsKQXhmNE1HQmFPUG8/edit?usp=sharing

When I try to log into the web browser, it won’t let me do anything. I tried the “ID” option, tried using my email, and also tried both logging in and registering. Logging in just hangs, then has a pop-up with an error message, and clicking register doesn’t do anything at all. I’ve checked my email and spam mailbox but there is nothing in there at all for registering. I also cannot find a way to upload the data manually. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can start manually uploading this information and also let me know how I can view it online?

First point: I love Torque Pro and your web log viewer!

Question: What are the grey thumbtacks in the track? I looked at the downloaded log and there were no anomalies at those locations.

Further question: As a hobbyist programmer I can understand the lack of documentation, to code or document, that is the decision. Is there ANY?

Final point: I love the app. Thank you.

So, after much playing around in the settings, I finally got data logging to send to the webserver.
Nice!
I can now view some of the data I selected.

My next question; is it possible to change the colour legend of the graph display on the viewer?

For some reason, I have about 4 or 5 different lines that are all showing in the same colour, which makes it a little hard to distinguish which is which.

*Edit*
Also, on the map view, there are several points on the map (usually start, end, and what I assume to be my engine operating temerature point) that seem to be selectable with my mouse, but when clicked, they do nothing.
Is this the way it should be, or should something be happening when I click these points?

I have the latest release of Torque and I’ve got the app communicating with the Web Viewer. But for some reason it looks like only the GPS coordinates and GPS speed is getting sent to the Web Viewer.

In my logging settings I have set it to log Speed (OBD), RPM, Absolute Throttle Position. I’ve also got “Also Log selected sensors” checked but for some reason Web Viewer is showing those sensors as 0. Any help on getting the selected sensor data uploaded to web viewer?

Sorry for the stupid question. I have problems using the web interface. I have Torque free version with enabled logging. I made a new registration at web interface page using my google e-mail address, and do not see any recorded tracks. Then I noticed something like User ID in Torque settings and tried to use it in the web interface, but I cannot register using this number entered to Device ID (invalid login details entered). When I click Register, nothing happens.

I have turned on the upload setting in Torque and have been connected to the internet just now.

Sorry, it’s probably a stupid question. I have Torque pro, I see that my data is uploaded to the server, but when I log in with the email inserted in the app, I can’t find the results, I need to associate User ID to the mail, I tried to enter with user ID instead of mail, says to enter the verification code that should have arrived to me by email, but I don’t get any email … Help ?
