Not at the moment – the current website was done in a about a day and I’m ‘getting round’ to doing it properly as it really has been in ‘beta’ long enough.

There is a new website dedicated for Torque coming soon and updates to the viewer code will be part of that.

I’d love to see the ability to send the web interface to my web server. Make the ‘receiver’ code available so that someone with their own web server can set up their own database and control access to the data how they see fit. Make that ‘feature’ a option for your paid version.

Hi,

I’m having issues logging into the web interface. I uploaded a log yesterday, but can’t get in to see it. Telling me, Invalid Login details.

Love the software anyway. Working well with my mazdaspeed3.

Hi ian…
A Were going to be able to make a user name/screen name and password to log in any time soon?

Or atleast a way to remember our device on a computer?

Also any way you could have a link on main page of torque-bhp.com to the web interface sign in?

Thanks

Hi,

I seem to be having the same problem darkness is having. I’ve been able to log into the Torque viewer online multiple times before but when it switched over to the new website it is telling me that I have “Invalid Login Details”.

Besides that I love the app for collecting data from my car.

Ah, this may have been due to some database maintenance I did on Monday. I’ve just restarted the viewer so hopefully it should be working again for you

I’ve been concentrating on the new website first, the Torque viewer is still on my to-do list (and adding slightly useful options like the ability to remove tracks, etc) so please bear with me! :)

Thanks for getting the viewer back up and running. I’m looking forward to the new viewer when it comes out.

I love torque and really love the ability to specify an alternate server to upload readings to.

I’m starting to roll my own (simple) web interface because I want to put scatter plots of driving statistics up on my web page. Getting torque uploading to my server was easy but parsing the data is a little harder.

Are the keys for each of the fields documented somewhere? The low numbered ones are obviously PIDs, kc=RPM, k11=throttle, etc. But things like “v” and the high numbered pids ff5201 and ff1001 I haven’t been able to figure out.

Thanks

Daniel

I cant get into the site to view my data. Invalid login. I have all the logging enabled and was able to email it to myself. But want to get into your site. Does the upload happen on its own? I dont see a option for it in the program.

I love the app. Is there any chance you will be releasing the example web site code soon? I’m really dieing to start playing with it and want to setup my own site. There are somethings I would like to adjust such as the layout and how the graph functions. I want to pop out the map into a separate window and make the graph the primary owner of the main window. I would also like to try have the part of the track being viewed highlighted on the map. Also an Imperial/Metric toggle for the values, fixed RPM value in the instantaneous listing on the top of the graph so it displays in the 1000s while leaving the graph as is, a new color scheme for the values, the ability to select and deselect values to be displayed with selectable color, and adjustable tick values on the y-axis.

Also for the app itself I have feature requests. I would like to be able to adjust the individual dials and displays so that I can extend the time period of the graphs, set the markers on the dials so I can do things like adjust the RPM gauge to 500 or 1000 rpm intervals, change the color of the text if the value is above or below a value. I would also like to see another display type that reduces the amount of screen use while keeping the readability of the digital displays. I have an HTC EVO and there is extra room to stuff more gauges or increase the text size for more readability. Actually a whole screen display where you can select up to say eight items and it will arrange them in a simple modern layout would be awesome. Auto arrangement would also be nice to have. Also a night mode that will cut all the extra graphics to black and the text to red would be awesome. It’s troublesome to have on at night and I’m one of those people that turns the instrument cluster lights all the way down or off at night so I can see the road better.

Awesome app and great work with it!

I also would like the db schema and php files to log this data to a personal server.

thanx

I too would like to see the web code but I also would like to see a coloration between the plot data and the telemetry. IE you noticed a misfire on 5th street you look it up on the map and the graph indicates the correct time index where the fault occurred.

Hi guys!
This is my first post, but I think it´s worth posting the results from a couple of days coding around:
http://www.docs4docs.at/gmtest/
it´s basicly the same what ian did but:
– no web-upload so far (I´m using a static csv-log-file)
– colored track on the map
– selectable datafields for the charts
whats missing:
– navigation chart does not always update (bug in charting library?)
– link cursor-position from the chart to the map and vice versa

I´d like to hear your ideas about what sucks or what else I should integrate.

cu
Volker

p.s.: I love tourque

–> EDIT: Updated the App: Now showing and moving marker on map (mouse-over: Datapoint in graph)

p.p.s.: Internet Explorer sucks 😉

Christmas came early this year! Thnak you :)

As a mechanic on a rally car I see a huge advantage in this excellent app and bought an ODBII Bluetooth right away since I only had wired ODBII.

What type of information can be transmitted to web?

@Volker

Same here there’s a lot of potential with that interface especially since you can see the location of the vehicle instead of just the time and guessing where the vehicle was at.
