Same here. I have switched to Nokia Lumia (great device) and now the only app I really miss is Torque.

At the moment a WP8 port is unlikely due to the fiasco with dumping on developers who had invested in making WP7 apps only having to rewrite them again for WP8

There are also unfortunate grumblings on the internet about microsoft abandoning it again due to less than stellar sales of devices (and we've not seen what their roadmap is for WP8->WP9 and if they're going to force app rewrites again). At the moment it unfortunately doesn't make sense to invest time into bringing Torque to this platform until it's future is secure

I am however working on blackberry versions (which is waiting on an API feature update from BB due soon) and investigating another platform as well

I wanted to chime in on this. I've been hoping to see this app come to windows phone since there is a clear lack of such software for it. Its a great app, so I hope it does make it at some point.

Regarding the development future for WP, I think things have turned in a positive direction over the course of this year. The transition from WP7 to WP8 was rough thanks to MS having to break app compatibility due to switching the WP os core to a standard windows core (WP8 now shares the same kernel, etc with Windows proper).

Everything points to MS keeping that same core going forward since the whole point was to get WP and Windows on the same page for easier cross platform development and much better hardware support for WP going forward. Hopefully that encourages more devs to support it.

It doesnt look like MS will be giving up on WP anytime soon considering sales have been picking up steadily this year (having passed Blackberry in the process very recently).
