i've asked several of the sellers on ebay if their bluetooth scanner works with a samsung epic phone since they all seem to list computers and windows phones and none of them can tell me for sure. i know how to pair with a device because i do it all the time with my earpiece, but will the phone recognize the unit and will it display correctly?

It should connect like any other bluetooth device. however I first bought a cheep china adapter, it would connect to the phone but not talk to the car. I got a KIWI adapter and it works perfectly. Just need to set it up, and that was easy.

Its a gamble, my cheap dongle, 26 bucks, works perfectly.
