I'm running this on an early 99 ford powerstroke diesel. When I'm plugged in my truck wont start. Is this why you say 2004 and later diesels or do I need to get a different adapter? Thanks!

PS: it is an OBD II truck

When you say plugged in do you just mean that the bluetooth device is plugged in AND you are trying to request data or is the device just plugged in and Torque is turned off. Can you take a picture of you connector? I'd like to see what PINs you have populated in the connector.

I returned the xitech adapter and purchased a PLX my engine starts fine now. If already running before torque connects to the adapter it causes the truck to miss when it connects is that normal?
