Transmission fluid temp

Hi all, I got the torque app and I'm trying to figure out how to get my transmission fluid temp. I have looked everywhere and tried all known PIDs.

Vehicle: 2022 Great Wall (GWM) Poer / P-series / Poe

It uses a Zf 8HP transmission.

The app picks up TCM 7e9 and I think the ECM was 7e8

I tried all the preset PIDs aswell
I'm also using the Scan Tool plug in (it picks up tones of PIDs)

How can I use the scan tool to figure out how to see my AT Transmission coolant temperature PID

Any advice would be appreciated.

You could try looking at the scan results at
ambient temps then again after running
vehicle. Zero in on those pids that appear
to be in the expected range using a standard
equation for temps, e.g., A-40 for °C.

Thanks for the reply, my only problem is there are about 500 pids that appear when scanning everything. How can I narrow down my scan? What range would you recommend I scan?

While I cant answer what range to search,
I would still recommend looking for pids
that match cold ambient temp.

For example...

Ambient temp of 0°C using A-40 equation
would need a hex value of 28 to match.

Focus on the pids that are close to hex
28. Then monitor those pids while the
engine comes to temp. Focus further on
those pids that behave like TFT.

Thanks for that answer.

Im not too familiar with the app, is there a faster way to scan all the PID's to see what is giving the Ambient temperature as a reading?

Sorry been messing around with it and it looks like there is more than 1000 PID's. DO i have to open each one and see if the (decimal value)-40 is the Ambient temperature? On a cold engine of course.
