I recently installed torque pro and also installed the torque scan plugin in an attempt to find some working PIDs for my 2005 chevy silverado 2500 HD duramax diesel.
I have the kiwi bluetooth plx adapter and it appears to have no issues connecting to torque.
Alot of the core PIDs work, like speed, rpm and mpg. However more advanced ones like AFR, transmission temp, exhaust gas temp, cylinder misfires and many more do not work. I have tried to use torque scan a few times and it seems to crash after about 15 minutes of scanning.
Is there a certain way I should have the settings before I can properly use torque scan?
also any other help on typing in custom PIDs for the above mentioned ones would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
It all depends, not all parameters are supported out of the OBD2 port on most cars. Torque application has not control over that.
