Hi Ian,
First of all congrats on an awesome program.

I've just started using it on my Nexus One with an OBD adapter from ebay and everything seems to be working great except that the throttle reading never drops below about 16.5%.

Being new to OBD I've no idea how to diagnose where the problem lies but I thought I would flag it here just in case it's a known issue.

Hi

The throttle position reading is the actual engine trottle position not the pedal position. The pedal position gets put through some limit control by the ECU before it is sent to the throttle - so you have a bit of throttle for idle (which is probably where your 16.5% is coming from) and some people will see the 100% throttle drop to around 60-70% after a while in some vehicles (typically in some small VW cars).

I can add some pedal position PIDs in - this will have to be in a couple of updates time however

I know this is an older thread, but I just started using Torque, and noticed that when I'm at WOT (or thought I was), Torque indicates a max throttle position of 83.14%. Anyone have any ideas what this might be?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

So as it turns out, using Relative Throttle Position vs. Absolute yields much more favorable results. Just an FYI if anyone cares...lol

Sweet, that explains things quite a bit.

So where in the software do I navigate to make this relative throttle choice? I've looked quite a bit and haven't seen this option.

To clarify, I too see only approx 80% @ WOT and about 7% when fully closed. I drive a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GTV6 Wondering if something is wrong....
