Device is a Samsung Tab A, SM-T385 Adapter is the blue ELM327 from eBay. There is definitely no other devices or apps connecting to the adapter. I'm new to obd2 but as far as I know it's a default vehicle profile and I just altered the name plus general details such as weight, engine capacity and fuel volume etc. If it still won't talk to the ECU I'll send the debug report.
