Test this morning connected perfectly, barely had time to see it connect to neither device nor ECU. Testing again this afternoon (about 9h)

Hi!

What android device, and type of adapter are you using, and are you using a default vehicle profile or are you making use of the more advanced features like 'custom init'?

I have just updated 1.12.75 with some changes that may help - if you could update to the latest version and let me know if things are fixed it would be of great help

Thank you. I've just done the latest update a few minutes ago and I won't have access to the vehicle for almost another day now but I'll definitely give it a go ASAP.

Device is a Samsung Tab A, SM-T385
Adapter is the blue ELM327 from eBay.
There is definitely no other devices or apps connecting to the adapter.

I'm new to obd2 but as far as I know it's a default vehicle profile and I just altered the name plus general details such as weight, engine capacity and fuel volume etc.

If it still won't talk to the ECU I'll send the debug report. Thanks again for the reply.

If it is still not fixed, and there are no other apps/devices connected to the adapter (as they only allow one connection at a time) then it would be worthwhile sending a debug (with the latest version from this morning)

To send a debug:

* Go into the main app settings, special settings->enable debugging

* Quit and restart the app

* wait about 60 seconds for it to try to connect, even if it does not.

* Go to the 'realtime information' screen and press the gear/menu icon and select 'send debugging info'

* In the box that pops up, type your forum name and then let me know here and I'll look at it for you

Is it just a coincidence that the BT elm327 worked prior to the update and the device has failed after the update??

The device still connects to my tablet by bluetooth, I disconnected the BT device deleted the bluetooth connection and restarted the tablet, reinstalled the BT connector it connects by BT no worries (add the password 1234) and still it won't connect to the ECU.

It's not a vehicle issue as it connected, read and reset fault codes just a few days ago, before and after replacing a problematic variable cam timing sensor.

Not sure how to add screenshots or other info/logs here either?
