When I bought my scanner it said for Android or Windows environment. The Instruction manaul says Android and the mini-cd that came with the unit will not play at all. Any suggestions?

Perhaps you could tell us which "scanner" you have. Generally the CD is for Windows apps and drivers. Android usually needs no drivers installed.
