Has anyone used this device? Is it really faster? Any other comments?

That looks like the same one I do. It's not on the approved list of adapters but it seems to work fine for me. The only catch is that you can't use the fast data sampling. I'm estimating about a 500ms delay, which is totally manageable lol.

What phone are you using it with? I plan to use it with an HTC EVO. Have you had any problems with it dropping the connection?

I'm using it on a Droid X 2.2.1, and haven't had any issues at all with the adapter, including dropped connections.
