Sorry this isn't the reply you wanted, but I have just come across the same problem. I have just joined the forum whilst looking for an answer. I tried another option "loading Pro Torque on another android unit, same problem, hope someone has an answer

On the Adapter Status tab, you specify which protocol your vehicle is connecting to.
There is a test feature that can be used
to view the raw hex response from your
vehicle
in the test mode, take screenshots of the voltage readings of battery 1 in hexadecimal

Sorry but I can't find any option to view the readings in hex format and at the moment the vehicle is having body/paint work repairs so I don't have Bluetooth access to the ELM 327 device. I will post again in a few days.
I do have another question, how do I post a screen shot or picture ? I cannot find an option on this forum.

From a photo that I took is the following info:

The OBD standard that the vehicle ECU conforms to is OBD11 as defined by the CARB
The protocol used to talk to the vehicle ECU is ISO15765-4CAN11/500

The OBD unit is a Blue ELM 327 off the internet, maybe that is the problem?

Thanks again for your help. BobF

BobF

,

Did you get a reply or a fix for this? I used this App one time and it told me exactly which cell(s) where bad but, this time it is giving me the incorrect info (330v, etc).

If you edit the pid in question while
connected to your vehicle, there is a
test button for viewing the raw hex
response from the vehicle.

Are you using the correct pid for your
vehicle?

Does the formula yield correct results?
The formula can be easily modified by
editing the pid if necessary.
