I've updated my Galaxy S to the 2.2.1 Froyo version JS3. When I've used Torque for a moment, the battery runs down rather quickly afterwards, losing its charge much quicker than normally.
Spare Parts shows that Torque has used the sensors all day even though I ran it for a few minutes only.
I notice this even after removing app data in app preferences and reinstalling, exiting through pressing the back key twice and also when using Menu->Quit. But Torque still kept my screen layouts - where are they stored? It lost my bluetooth device.
Rebooting fixes it, but who wants to reboot?
I've seen the same with Google Maps. Reinstalling fixed that. And in Froyo 2.2 the Gallery from Samsung would show this bug. But that is fixed now.
Hey,
The developer just added a bug fix this to the change log for the next release before you posted this. http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=3.0 . To answer where the layout is located I believe it's on the SD card as a hidden folder. ".torque" if you use Astro from the Android market and go to sdcard it the folder should appear near the top along with all the other hidden folders. The file name is "torqueDialLayout"
