When i do a key dance (Chyslers routine to bring up on dash fault codes) the car shows the code for camshaft sensor is still stored (after i fixed the problem). However when i connect Torque and scan for codes nothing is found
In addition to this though the app connects with my ECU the readings are not accurate for fuel gauge, temeperature. The other gauges i have in it simply dont respond/work. I have tried 3 different elm327 adapters off ebay. Could it be the adapters are cheap/rubbish?
If so where can i buy genuine adapter in the UK. Really desperate
Torque reports generic and legislated
DTCs using OBDII Mode 3. It may be
your DTC is a manufacturer specific
DTC which is not reported using mode
3.
Dont know if this link will help with your
other issues but just in case...

There is a way to check for proper operation: Unplug the TPS (throttle position sensor) and crank the engine briefly. Check for codes using the manufacturer's method. Compare those with what you see with Torque. The TPS code(s) should appear using both methods. Then if the cam position code is missing in Torque, it is manufacturer-specific and not covered by a generic OBD2 mode 3 method. Plug in the TPS cable again and use Torque to clear the TPS code(s).
Some codes do not immediately disappear after fixing the defect; they require a certain number of ignition/drive cycles without a failure.
