The only MAF related PID I've seen is MAF air flow, and it doesn't seem accurate on my Fords and GM. I know there is a PID for MAF voltage and MAF frequency / AD Count, but I haven't been able to find it using Torque Pro. I also cannot figure out how to use Torque Scan to identify the correct PID for these 2 values. Any ideas?
Hi!
The MAF PID is a direct read as given by the ECU - there's no 'calculation' done in the app itself - if you're seeing that value, then that is what the ECU has sent to the adapter
Bear in mind that MAF sensors can degrade over time - this will result in a progressively worse ability to correctly meter airflow despite the self-cleaning that the MAF sensor itself does on each engine start.
MAF voltage and AD/count will be manufacturer specific PIDs - you may need to add them using Settings->Manage extra sensors in the app itself
I've tried it on the Ford Extended PIDs and the GM Extended PIDs, but I could not locate any PIDs related to MAF Voltage or AD Counts.
Do you know where I could find the PID for a 02 GMC Yukon? I need to log the maf frequency and can't seem to find any info on it.
FYI for ford...

is there a similar idea for MAP?
apparently my ford uses a freq MAP not a voltage, 1997 7.3 powerstroke
I know this is an old post, but I am interested in MAF frequency as that is what the ECM uses in GM (and the Aurora) I am working on.
Can anyone point me at PID for MAF Frequency? The GM specific add-on does not have it.

This is for GM late 90's, not sure about later years:
"MAF Frequency Hz", "MAF Freq", "221250", "(A*256)+B", 0, 31999, "Hz", "Auto"
