I've been searching for some time now, and got no answer.
Does anyone know, how to enable oil temperature gauge? Is it even possible on VW-Audi group? Why doesn't work?
I noticed there is an option with adding PIDs, but it didn't work out, I guess it was a wrong procedure...
Thx 😉
Been asking for ages 🙁
Very useful on a track car, but with every update, my hope fades.
Meh...
Bump
Oil temp is not readable via OBD on VAG cars. IF your car has an oil temp sensor (my 2005 2.7L Audi doesnt even have one), it is only readable via the VAGCOM protocol that, for now, does not work with ELM adaptors. Search the forum for VAGCOM for more info.
that's strange that your car doesn't have oil temp. sensor, are you sure?
My car has one, and vagcom can read it.
So, there is no chance that Torque could read oil temp. on VAG cars??
VAG oil temps are taken from the sensor in the sump... not all VAG cars come with the fitted and is part of the instruments module rather than the ECU...
If Torque can't see other modules then I guess oil temp is off the table

As for now, no chance.

Any possibility for custom PID?
My car has oil temp sensor in-dash.
