Hi

I'm useing ELM327 based OBDII to Bluetooth adapter to monitor the CAN traffic in the Passenger Vehicle.

The issue I have is that in the Lab the ELM327 is hooked to a CANCaseXL and Torque is not able to identify the protocol.

Is their any way to make this setup work ?

Can we make torque work with CANCaseXL, can you suggest any alternate method ?

Thanks and Regards

Kishore

Do you have a simulation of the engine ECU running on your PC that has the CANCase XL connected? I think, otherwise it will not work, your simulation needs to be able to "speak" the OBD2 protocol, e.g. simulated in CANoe.

I guess you took care of the 120 Ohm resistors, when connecting the ELM 327 to the CANCase XL?

Does CanCaseXL speak OBDII? Torque is a Polling program. CanCaseXL must respond to the PID's that torque requests over the CAN bus.
