Hi l wonder if anyone can help. In the Torque app on my head unit in my car the obd2 adapter isn't visible but when I go to Bluetooth scan on the head unit it is visible but wont pair. I've got it working fine on my phone but can't get it to work on the cars head unit. Have tried number things with no success just waiting to hear back from the manufacturer of the head unit to see if there is a firmware update that might fix it. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Try this
You need to pair not using Android, but through the Bluetooth application.
The working sequence turned out to be:
1. Set the Bluetooth pin code in the radio to 1234
2. Launch the built-in application for calling via Bluetooth, searching and
connecting BT devices. Use it to find the OBD adapter and press
connect button. The adapter will stick.

What head unit you are using ?
Some china android head unit's bluetooth function are weird,
it can connect phone with media function but unable to connect something else.
Probably they limited to bluetooth media profile.
Change to OBDwifi may help.
I am using wifi function instead.
