Although I have uploaded some data , I am not able to login to the OBD log viewer website. Always error message "Invalid login details entered. Please try again".

What is the problem here?

Hi

That usually means that no data was able to be uploaded to the server (the server doesn't know about you yet), so check you had a data connection on the phone. As soon as data hits the server from the device, you should be able to login

Ok I see that this is an old post but I am having the same trouble. I logged in earlier with data from my torque application and it worked fine. Now with the exact same login and new data on the phone it says invalid???? Also this app is causing my phone to reboot. It was worst when I was getting it setup and seems to have calmed down some but this is frustrating for an an app I paid $5 for.

The main issue is the login to get my data. Also when I try to email the data it sends out the the email but does not include any data with the email??

Hi!

Your phone should not be rebooting - the app itself doesn't have permissions to get anywhere near being able to do that so it may be a sign that your phone has a hardware issue.

It could also be the ROM if you are using a thirdparty ROM - if it's that, then you may need to submit a bug report to the ROMs developers

Some handsets don't like multiple bluetooth connections (at the same time) due to a bug in the bluetooth drivers - if you have something like handsfree bluetooth connected at the same time then this can also cause issues on some handsets

Check you have entered the login details correctly - the webserver won't let you login unless it's seen at least 1 piece of uploaded data. If you email your 'torque id' to ian@prowl.org I can check manually for you

Sorry but it is not a hardware issue and only when using this app. It is not even when I am connected to a bluetooth. Like I said that was primarily when it was going thru the setup and I was working on getting it the way I wanted. It seems to have settled down now. Do I think Android has issues? That is a definite yes. I am more concerned that I can not login nor can I email the data logs. It sends a blank email.

Thanks for the fast response however. I will email you the login info.

Hi

Got the login, thanks, I'll have a look at that today to see what's up

What kind of phone make/model is it? You shouldn't be getting reboots at all. It could be a hardware issue as the only thing that would cause the phone to reboot is a segfault in android itself (which is automatically restarts upon having).

There was an issue with older handsets where a reboot would eventually happen after about an hour of the adapter not being present, though this issue in android was fixed in a firmware update for all affected handsets that had this issue
