Has anyone had any luck getting the boost to work on a Volkswagen? I have an 03 GTI 20th Anniversary Edition and everything works expect for the boost readings. Any ideas?

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question, I just wanted to say good choice of car! I also have one! 🙂 Are you on uk-mkivs?

Boost is working - it looks like there may be an issue with your ECU not supporting the sensor...
If you could connect to the ECU with Torque, make sure the Boost gauge is visible on the screen, and then use the 'Send comms debug log' option from the menu to send debugging information to me, I'll have a quick look to see what's going on (put a quick note at the top of the email it sends so I know where it's from and what it's about :-))

Sorry Marka, I've never heard of those forums. I'm on vwvortex though. Keep in mind I'm not in the UK. I'm in America.
Thanks Ian. I'll do that. I wonder if it's my cheapo Ebay bluetooth OBD connector. Everything else works...weird. I'll send it today.

I have a 2003 VW bug 1.8T. Boost is not working.
I bought a cheap ebay dongle and it didn't work, then I bought Kiwi Bluethooth OBDII and it still didn't work.
Please I bought this app I would love to see this work.
I can make a youtube video if you like.

Ian, how do we send the debug log?
This is a debug file for the developer. If you have a problem, it would be really cool if you could take the time to add a description of what your issue is and I will have a better chance of fixing any bugs in Torque(if possible).

i have the same problem. 2001 1.8t boost doesnt read

same issue on my audi tt. seems all the 1.8 motors are not supported, this sucks 🙁

I have an Audi A4 (they share a lot of things such as engines with the VWs) and the boost and speed display dont work on mine either. I have just emailed the comms logs.

Another 2004 1.8L Audi TT, same deal. I can generate a debug log as well if it would help.

Please provide support for the Audi/VW 1.8T engines. No boost readings.

It's not just the 1.8T...I have an 06 MKV GTI with the 2.0T FSI engine and everything seems to work except for the boost readings.

One more here, with VW Golf mkV GTI, and everything working (more or less), but no boost info.

Also,
it does not seem to read error codes. i have a 99 passat 2.3 V5. i need to do a Throttle body adaptation and i dont know whether its my bluetooth adapter or the software, but i can not communicate to clear codes i know are there but do not show up in Torque.

I would try not to mix different topics here... We're discusing here about boost info not showing up...
Try to open a new topic about this.
Just a recomendation.

I have a few VAG cars (Vw and audi), two of which are turbo'd.
2000 VW Jetta TDI - reads boost perfectly.
2001 Audi S4 - Does not read boost.
Vag-com (obviously) reads boost on both, and I can get a few other 3rd party windows programs to read boost as well.
If there is anything at all that I can do (or provide) in an effort to resolve this issue, please feel free to let me know.

I haven't been able to read or clear codes and I have Kiwi bluetooth adapter.
