Got a toast saying 'theme changed', android time is 10:48pm and theme is not changed

Am i missing somthing pls?

Hi

It should change immediately, if it does not, then quit and restart and see if it does (if it does, then it's a small bug and I'll need to sort it out)

I rebooted the phone and restarted torque, but the theme is the same i had prior to 130b

I double checked selecting another night theme and rebooted, but no luck

Thank you

Hi!

Ok - it /should/ work..... can you tell me what device it is that you're using (and if the GPS is enabled, as the device needs a rough location so it can calculate the sunrise/set times)

hello!

looking at translation file I've seen that we can set day/night theme switch using Light sensor but I'm unable to find this option on the settings. where is it?

">It is in settings > Themes

Ok but in the teanslation file it seems that we can have an automatic theme switch based on the phone light sensor or based on sunset. I don't see this option under settings > themes

The light sensor isn't in there yet, it's a setting that's "ready" but not actually implemented (seeing how well the GPS version goes instead as it should pretty much do everything perfectly, whereas the light sensor is subject to transients and may not be ideal))

Infact, using the light sensor is not a good idea for people (myself included) that keep there phone in their pocket or glove box, casting the screen to the head unit

Hello,

I'm very happy that you add night theme changer to Torque...

Theme changer with GPS run good, but i think you must add the light sensor option....

I live in Alps in France and there is lot of tunnels under Mountains...
I have BMW 530 and everytime i take tunnels, my interior lighting turn in nightmode...(including car speed indicator)...

It will be very usefull that Torque do the same thing, when entering in tunnels, parking, or when there is storm or raining...

In any case, thank you so much for Torque software...
I use it since longtime in my different cars and it is so usefull...

Sorry for my poor english !!!

I know this is very off topic but I would like to know how you accomplish the casting part? What app(s) do you use?
Thanks!

I use chromecast connected to the headunit (hdmi)

I trigger a tasker task by an nfc tag when i enter in the car, and put phote in pocket

The tusk runs appradio unchained reloaded (which is needed to have full touch on head unit and gps injection to the note 4) then connects to chromecast to cast the screen on headunit, starts music and runs torque

From Headunit i have full control of my note 4 (screen mirror) with full touch, handsfree calls etc

Hope it helps
