New Phone - Not transmitting logs to Webserver

Hope someone can help, I recently changed my phone to a Galaxy S3 from my HTC Sensation. I had no problems logging and it automatically uploading the logs to the webserver.

However now with the S3, it will not upload the logs. I have the check box ticked for upload to webserver. The webserver url I have in the phone is: http://ian-hawkins.com/torque.php.

Are there any other options that need to be on before it will upload?

I hope this question gets answered, as I have never had a reply to my last couple of threads.

Regards,
Falconer

I seem to also be having this problem on a Galaxy S3 (AT&T LTE). I've been using the app for less than a week, and may not have some setting right, being a new user and all, but I think I've got the settings right. Box is checked to upload, with e-mail address set and such. The option to test settings says no problems found. Yet no trips ever show up on the site. I see all the trips on the phone and can view them just fine in map mode.

Hi!

This could be a small bug in 1.8.6 - I'm packaging up version 1.8.8 which should hopefully fix this issue - sorry about the delay in getting this sorted!

Hi!

I've had a look, and now have released 1.8.8 which should now fix this issue and several other small bugs (USB connectivity and also some issues on obscure tablets from china)

As long as the email address is set (in the app settings) and the URL is at the defaults, you should then be able to upload to the webserver in 1.8.8

It'll take a couple of hours for googles servers to process the update - then if you reboot your android device (to clear out any cached google play information about Torque) and go to the app page, you should be able to download the update!
