I have a Sony xperia s and when I try to pair with the ELM device it shows invalid passkey. I thought it may have been the device so they sent me another one. Same thing happened. I contacted Sony and about as much help as water to a sinking ship. They concluded that the phone may not be compatable but they do not test 3rd party devices.
I would really appreciate some help as I am keen to get this up and running.

Hi!
Are you:
Running Android 4.0.4 or using cyanogenrom/aokp?
There's an issue with Sony and Samsung builds of android 4.0.4 onwards that causes the passkey to be repeatedly asked for. If this is the case I'll need the model number of the devive: (Settings->About->Model) to add it to the list of workarounds for bugged bluetooth drivers
Sony Xperia S
Model LT26i
Android Version 4.0.4
Thanks does this mean we can fix it

Hi!
Yes - it's a known issue with that version of android (on several phones - mainly samsung and sony devices)
I'll release a fix in a couple of days - thanks for posting the info I need to sort this out for you
Is it original manufacturers ROM firmware that you are running (or something like cyaongen?)
Original sony software
Thanks for your help
Yes i am having problems in that i can pair, connect and veiw
imformation of choosing but the system only seems to upload GPS
and km/hr.
I have Sony Xperia 10i the app is very good though for some reason i cannot access any other data other than the google map
and km/hr another graph below that with no labeling on the x and y axis.
How do i upload or access the other data such as AFR ,boost pressure, oxygen levels ect. This data is shown on the phones
app and works well, but for reasons unknown i cannot access this
on the Torque Webveiwer it only shows google trip map and km/hr.
Is there a way to access it on the webveiwer and check the data has been uploaded or is the problem at my end with the phone ?
Please help no rush for reply

Hi!
Have you told the app to log those PIDs (Settings->Data logging/upload->Choose what to log)
After you have done that, stop and start logging (to start a new logging session) and then it should log the values you have chosen
AFR may not immediately start logging as the vehicle engine has to enter 'closed loop' mode before that sensor data can be used (the sensor for AFR had to warm up first)
Hi
Just wondering how you are going with the fix
Tezza
I'm checking out something similar for someone else (with the aim of trying to workaround the bug for a lot of people) once I've hopefully found a decent way, I can test it then publish the fix
HI
Am wondering where we are up to with the fix for for the Sony it has been nearly two weeks and still nothing have you found a fix as your original post stated;
I’ll release a fix in a couple of days – thanks for posting the info I need to sort this out for you

Are you having any luck with the fix.
Yes - unfortunately I've been sidetracked with a number of issues (including some personal things to do with an expectant wife, who's no.1 in my priorities) - I'm hoping to release something tomorrow of wednesday with a bit of luck
Thanks for the reply hope everything goes well with your forthcoming new addition.

How we going with the fix it has been a while
Hi
Just checked and you should already have it as it was part of the last update - make sure you have updated from Google Play to the latest version (Torque is only distributed on Google Play)
