It seems like from looking around the internet that my 2000 model Mustang GT should support the misfire codes and I should be able to watch them in Torque. However, thus far I have not been able to view the individual misfire codes for cylinders 1-8. The Misfire Total (PID: $221616) works just fine and seems to be accurate but the existing misfire PIDs that came with Torque which I could add on the Realtime screens (MF1-MF8), did not seem to have correct data. According to all that I have read, the $TID is supposed to be $53 and the $CID's are $01 thru $08. So, how do I access that TID and those CIDs in Torque?

Additionally, I tried creating my own PID but so far that hasn't worked either. I found some info on the net about PIDs from $22160E through $221615 but those don't seem to work either.

Any ideas? Some people seem to have succeeded with this.

Jerry

I would be tempted to test mode 6
TID 53 using OBDII commands just to
see its response and how Torque is
parsing the result.
