Friends:
I have everything working. I recorded part of my drive home.
I can replay from inside Torque, but i want to upload the video with overlays to my computer.
I mounted my phone as a hard drive and found the video file and the subtitle file. How do I play them on the Mac? Will this show the map and the dials? If not, what do i need to do to make this work on my computer the same way it works with i replay from inside the app?
Thanks!
Bert
Hi
The video file is on your SD card in the Torque Recorder folder. However this wont have the dial overlays on. The dial overlay/export is currently being developed - hopefully no more than a month of work is left on this before I can release it to people so please bear with me
Thanks
Ian
Hi Ian:
No worries. I'm not in a big hurry.
Your app is great.
Thanks for the prompt reply.

PS. I guess if I had HDMI out, i could connect the video and replay, or record it to my camcorder!
Is the upload feature done or is that something else on wiki?
Hi!
The encoding is done on the PC - if you update the recorder app, the export function takes you to a wiki page with the software and instructions on how to download /install the beta encoder
I was just watching the YouTube video that is linked from the recorder market page. Very cool stuff.
I noticed the Vac/Boost gauge in the video changes its title from "Vac" to "Boost" based on if the number is positive or negative. Is that feature also available in the normal gauges in Torque? I have a gauge that shows the current flow in and out of the high voltage battery in my Prius. I would love if the label could change between "in" and "out" depending on the sign of the data.
