I did see some formulas listed in this forum thread. I'll be trying those out but I've seen those on other sites ( or something similar) and they did not work.
Thanks everyone!

I just removed all my PID's, and reloaded the GM ones, and then the Extended ones two days ago.

THANKS, I missed that altogether. I'm anxious to try it now.

Now, if we just had the Calculated Fuel Rate per injection
it would be perfect.

I'm getting balance rates on my 2003 Duramax (LB7) and
Injector Pulse width numbers of .3 to .5 ms in idle (Park)
with my Pro Version of Torque.

But, the Pulse width is in 100 millisecond increments, when it should be a two or three placed decimal value, instead of one. The 100ms steps are a too coarse increment to be usable.

Is there a way the data can be displayed in .xxx ms format?

This site explains the proper way to diagnose the Balance Rates along with how to use the Injector Pulse Width (.xxx ms) as a final check of the proper Balance Rates.

http://www.iatn.net/forums/12/64765/duramax-lb7-white-smoke-diagnostics

This above site also states that the Calculated Fuel Rate per Injection needs to be used along with the Balance Rate to know the true balance rate. Notice that at idle the injector should output approximately 5 mm3/sec as a typical value.

I've tried to locate the Fuel Rate/Injection PID, but so far
I haven't located it. Does anyone know how to find this
PID? Is this value displayed on the Tech II?

With these changes, Torque Pro would be able to get the data required to follow the procedure at:

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/63-gm-diesel-engines/7-duramax-first-generation-2001-2004-lb7/576505-proper-way-check-balance-rates.html

Thanks.
