Well, I'm going to bite the bullet and get this. I wont be able at this time to get the "best" BT OBDII reader, but I want to try this.

With a little tweaking you can adjust this to read boost as you said.

It should work on the PowerStroke - you just need to make sure you have added the Ford extended/extra sensors to your available sensors list - you can do this from the main screen, press menu->settings->manage extra sensors->menu->add predefined set
The sensors will then appear in the list of available sensors when you add a new one in the realtime information screen

Ian... AWESOME job on the app! I finally got the paid app after reading this post and it solved all my problems I had with the app. Having all the PIDs preinstalled was great! Works great on my 2003 Powerstroke 6.0
Will this app work with a straight usb connection from the OBD2 adapter? Instead of Bluetooth? The reason I ask is, wouldn't my phone be charging at the same time as reading the obd2? I'm going to need the phone charging while I'm using this on long trips, thus the question.

Loaded Ford extended PIDs. I setup a torque screen with the 3 TFT guages- 2 are the default PIDs from the install (TFT 1 & 2). The 3rd is from the extended Ford PIDs. The Ford PID and one off the default TFT display nothing (just a empty guage). The other default guage displays the same number as the ECT guage.
The EOT from the FORD PIDs was not correct, but I found correct scale in this forum.

Hm, If you're having problems with that PID, edit the PID and change the header from 'Auto' to 'TCM' and see if that makes a difference (and let me know if it works so I can update the PID here)

Yes, I thought I would gamble on the cheap OBD2 readers. Oh, well, live and learn. Should have listened! And learned from others!!!
Tranny temp and oil temp are first. Then on to others.
By the way Ian, this is a great program you have here. Sadly, I might have just learned that the PCM program in my truck has what people lovingly call the "FICM" killer.

I did get EOT reading finally.I have fat fingers.
Now I can't find the boost gauge, I know it was there when I was using the cheap BT adapter.
Now the few others I could really use:

This next one is important. On our vehicles, the computer will count codes that do not set a CEL. They are there, but they have not met the requirement to set the CEL. I currently use Scangauge II. And I have this gauge and use it. Not long ago I had a count of one. Then the next time I drove it would go away. So, I have something brewing in the motor. SGII will not read those DTCs. But, your Torque APP does! I pulled code P0528, which is my Fan Speed sensor.(I have a wiring issue there) and now I can get active on repairing the issue BEFORE it sets a CEL.

I thought I had the EOT right. I was sitting here this morning and saw the equation wasn't right, so, I changed it and thought that was it.
Well, I just went out to the truck to make sure it was working, and it isn't. Currently my Water temp is 47*f and my EOT reads 186*f.
So, here is the equation I used, but it isn't quite right yet.

I can see my ECT gauge is pretty close. After a 12-16 hour cold soak on the motor, the ECT and EOT should read within a degree or 2 of each other.
Ok, just went and played some.
Equation: ((((A*256)+B)/100)-60.5)*(9/5)+32
That is what I have entered currently.
Now it reads ECT 42.8* EOT 43.6 Which is real close.
I plugged in my Scangauge II it reads as follows:
ECT 42* (It does not read a decimal)
EOT 43.3*
Transmission on Torque reads 43.4*
So, my motor has not ran since 12pm west coast time Thursday. Outside temp today, depending on website, 44*-47*.

That will be late tonight. Will post my readings.
What I will do, take my commute, get readings at destination.
Then I will plug in my Scangauge II and check against it.
That will tell us if it worked or not.
This is the one that works:

What I found was some how I had 5 ( at the beginning of the equation. See the bold in the equation. Needed to be 4 (
Any way, when I got to work, I pugged in the Scangauge II and it read the same as the Torque Pro. This makes me feel better about my purchase.
Now, in the Ford PIDs there is the "Boost & Vacuum gage. I can't get it to be Boost only. If my phone is in the house and I'm goofing with Torque, it says Boost on the gauge. Hooked up to the PLX BT it only comes out as Vacuum.
I'm really hoping to get the following PIDs though. If anyone can provide me with these I would be grateful.
