Greetings Folks,
I've been an avid Torque user for some time now on my Galaxy phone and today found this ebay auction for what I believe is a relatively new combo android pad / audio head unit.
In the specs they mention Bluetooth v2 but mainly list Bluetooth A2DP as a feature. I'd like to try Torque on one of these but wondered whether this A2DP spec is just a subset of Bluetooth and whether anyone has seen other devices that only allow this subset of Bluetooth without the rest of the Bluetooth stack (if this is possible.)
I'm just trying to avoid purchasing one and then finding out that the device does not support my ODB2 transmitter.

I believe A2DP is what allows Bluetooth to work with Stereo Headsets. Previously, BT sound was mono.

The name is "Android DVD Player" :)))
But this is a windows CE player with Android simulation...
Working great the internet, (with WIFI or 3G stick)but bluetooth working JUST in the Win CE and JUST as headset.
The android dont have Bluetooth settings, and the wifi handicapped too, have no AD-HOC protokol, can connect just with the router. The player dont see any KIWI Wifi devices...
And he have about 20 errors too 🙁
I dont answer to the incoming calls if i use the 3G stick...
I cant delete the notifications...
The sound in the android is wery bad, if i playing the music...

I don't know about this unit above, but I am currently looking at another type of unit. I would hold-off for at least a month as I may have more information on the best 2din unit that Torque will work with..
