I have OBD2 adapter installed on my car and use Torque Pro to monitor EGR commanded and EGR error. I notice that when engine is idling, EGR commanded is close to 0 whereas EGR error is 100%. When I rev up the engine to around 2000rpm, the EGR error goes to -100% whereas EGR commanded is still close to 0. Is this a problem and if yes, what could be wrong?

EGR valve does not open being in park or neutral, it opens when you drive down the road and have a load on the engine. Try that.
