I would like to figure out how to use Torque Pro to read the balance rates on a 2005 Duramax LLY. I've done hours of searching on the web and if the balance rates PIDs are out there, I can't find them. There are some posts about the subject on this forum but no final answer.
I tried using the TorqueScan plugin to search through the extended PIDs. The plug-in crashes after 10 minutes or so. It runs through PIDs quickly at first, then slows down, then crashes.
All I really want are the balance rate PIDs and formula if available. If I had the PIDs I could borrow a TECHII and figure out the formula.
Can anyone suggest where to search for this information? I've pretty much gotten as far as I can with Google.
Does anyone know why PID Scanner in Torque Scan hangs? I've tried changing the OBD2 adapter settings. The option to disable ELM327 auto-timing helped but it still hangs. The farthest it's gotten so far is Command=2202a7. When the scan hangs and Torque Scan exits all of the PID command/response info is lost. Can the command/response information be logged to a file?
Hi
I posted something on this some time ago to try to get things moving forwards:

Having just come back to that thread, it appears I had an offer (though was not able to follow it up). I'll try to dig this information out again and update that thread
Your thread was one of the search hits I looked at. Do you have the PID codes for the balance rates?
Were you able to dig up the PID?
