Latest version of paid Torque (as of Apr 27 2011) and Kiwi bluetooth adapter.
I have an extended PID defined as follows:
OBD2 Mode and PID: 01b4
Long name: Trans Temp
Short name: ATF
Minimum value: 0.0
Maximum value: 125
Scale factor: x1
Unit type: C
Equation: A-40
When I create a dial display for this PID, the numeric value shown on the dial disagrees significantly from where the dial needle is pointing.
The dial has major divisions marked at 35, 70, 105, 140, 175, 210 degrees F, with minor tickmarks between these at 8.75 degree intervals. And, of course, there is also a numeric readout near the center of the dial.
When the numeric readout is displaying 73.4 degrees, the needle on the dial is indicating about 63 degrees. When displaying 100.1 degrees, the needle is indicating about 87 degrees. When displaying 156.2, the needle is indicating about 135.
I'm wondering what is causing this and if there's anything I can do to fix it.

Sounds like it could be a bug. Can you tell me what negative values are on the dial when this happens, thanks
Hi Ian
I'd be happy to tell you that, but I don't know what you mean by "negative values on the dial"! The dial range starts at 0; there aren't any negative values shown on the dial circumference, and I don't get any negative Fahrenheit temperatures to display here in coastal California :).
So, sorry, but please explain in more detail what info you need.

Hi found it, should fixed in the next version just released (you may need to reboot your phone if it wont download the latest one due to a market bug)
Yes! Fixed in 1.4.54. Thanks, Ian!
Ian,does this last update also include the fix for discrepancies between Raw Data window and digital (or individual) gauges as per fuel trims and engine revs for toyota (tested on 2000 and 2002 cars)?
I left you a detailed post in deleted thread feature Requests and sent you comms debugs for everything.
sent you an email and never got a reply from you on this one.
it will fix the differences between both, yes.
