Hi all,
new member but a torque pro user with custom pid loaded for prius phev
Is is possible to creata custom PID from a known canbus command.
I am buying a Zeva battery management system, the zeva bms is canbus protocol, and i have access to the canbus command data files.
There s available in torque pro a custom Orion bms, I was hoping i could edit some of these orion pid`s with the zeva canbus data to send the zeva bms battery data to a tablet pc.
Is this possible please, if the known canbus data is available.
Example
Byte 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
CAN-ID 0 1 2 3
0x351 Battery charge voltage 0 byte 0 1
0x351 DC charge current limitation 1 byte 2 3
0x351 DC discharge current limitation 2 byte 4 5
0x351 discharge voltage 3 byte 6 7
So, with the above candata, can these be converted into a torque custom PID, it would be great if it could, i can then send the bms data to a lovely tablet screen with torque dialls.

Torque uses modes 01, 21 and 22 to request
data. The desired module then responds
back to the tester with available data.
Your messages look like traffic between
modules. I am not aware of how Torque
can intercept these type of messages.
Suggest trying TorqueScan to find pids that
might include the sensors you seek.
