Hello,
I'm trying to connect using the Bluetooth OBDLink from scantool.net
I've tried in a 2007 Trailblazer and 2005 Suburban using a Droid 2 and a Xoom tablet. The Motorola devices pair with the OBDLink but Torque cannot see the adapter. On the adapter, the status LED is red until I run Torque. Then the status LED turns green. Under Adapter Status Information, Connection to ECU is not checked.
I'm using the Full version of Torque.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Rocko
Hi
First try the following:
Remove *ALL* bluetooth pairings with the Android device(this means handsfree, music streaming, laptop, etc) so it is only connecting to one thing (the OBD2 adapter) - some buggy bluetooth drivers can cause various connection issues.
After doing that, reboot the android device to make sure it starts fresh. This basically means reboot via a battery-pull.
Then try the app. It should start flashing various lights on the adapter.
Also, make sure your ignition is ON (the engine doesn't have to be running in most cases though)
Hopefully this should get you up and running!

Ian,
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, not luck yet.
Any other ideas?
