I was thinking of buying an odbII adabter from ebay so i can use the app.However i am afraid that it might reset my ECU or something.I own a Citroen Saxo 1600 VTS 2003 model with a custom ECU not the factory one. Is there any posibilities at all by using a cheap adaptor from ebay to harm my ECU? Also does the app work for custom Ecu or it has default set ups for factory Ecu.. Thank you

It is *extremely* *difficult* to break something in your vehicle ECU from using even a clone adapter from ebay. Torque itself cannot cause any harm to any OBD2 compliant vehicle as it does not contain any way to 'write' data to the ECU other than to request data or request that fault codes are cleared.
In development of the app, and testing, I've thrown all manner of rubbish towards many types of vehicle (VW, Smart, Mercedes, Ford) and have yet to break something (this includes even deliberately trying to do so). The worst that can happen is you can activate some test mode on the ECU (using some third party app, not Torque) and that can be reset simply by turning your ignition off and on.

Thanks for the answer. About the custom Ecu will it read the correct data from it or the app is just used for oem car ecu?

Hi
If the custom ECU is OBD2 compliant, then you should get accurate sensor information as the ECU sees it, into the app - basically if it's OBD2 compliant, it should be able to connect and retrieve data

The sticker on the ecu doest mentions anything about obd2 but i found where the adapter fits and took a picture to show it to you. 
/ . I guess it will work fine so i'll order the adapter from ebay
