I hope this isn't 'automatic' because if I had this warning on my car id want to investigate it.

It's turned off by default, and puts up a warning message when people turn the option on. It's mainly for people with de-catted systems which will throw a light periodically.

I want to turn of the "check engine light" permanently (due to cat.) like you mention. How do I do this in Torque?
