Having read about the Torque Pro application in Top Gear, I purchased it through something called AppBrain and I suspect the bastards are not kosher. No matter what I do, the message tells me that it's Pending Changes (4hrs 51mins ago), yet I was able to download the free version instantly.
I can wear the reality that AppBrain are bullshit, my question now, is how do I buy this progamme direct?

Do you have access to the full Google Android market? If you do try buying it from on there or Google's web market https://market.android.com . Otherwise you might need to root you phone and use market enabler if your country isn't supported for buying apps.

I bought it through AppBrain as well, about a year ago. No problems... Did you try it via the website ( http://www.appbrain.com/)?
If you login there you can manage all apps on your device.
