Hi, need some help...............

I have a Honda Civic type R FN2 (2008 UK model). I purchased an Xtool iOBD2 reader (for both iphone & android). Xtool have their own app which works fine and I get logs from the ECU. Having heard great things about Torque Pro I bought the paid version. For what ever reason it will not connect to the ECU? Is this a protocol issue?

How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance.

It's possible the hardware you have is not ELM327-based, as Torque requires. I could not find anything definitive on that online and some reviews hinted that it wasn't. Might not be possible.
