Hello
Can someone please help me with setting up this program.
Vehicle: 2003 KIA Sorento 2.5CRDI
Phone: LG Optimus 2X ROM: Cyanogen nightly: cm-10-20121121
Bluetooth with phone clutches, and torque the icon stops flashing.
I have entered the correct profile. Engine capacity weight, etc.
The setting also done according to the instructions, but when you switch to real-time information, simply refuses to load while it is still paired.
Other applications work, but this just will not work no.1.
Thank you very much for any advice and suggestions and sorry for my very bad English.
You can reply here, or email: 2hdf@email.cz
otherwise use the OBD2 scaner
Hi!
Have you made sure that other apps have stopped using and disconnected from the adapter? The adapter will not accept any connections or listen on bluetooth if something is already connected to it (or hasn't closed the connection to the adapter)
Also - make sure you have told Torque what adapter to use in the settings (you can also do this in the vehicle profile, but leave everything at that part set to 'Automatic' or 'As defined in global settings' as you only generally need to change those if you have more than 1 adapter that you use)
Torque works with that adapter - make sure you have told Torque to use that adapter in the OBD2 adapter settings, and that things like laptops that may be paired to it are powered down (as laptops can connect to the adapter automatically even with no controlling software running)
Thank you.
I try, and I will know the result.
And as you said, so I did not have the profile assigned to the adapter. Maybe it will be this, now I'm at work.
And I have a bluetooth assigned to this device only.
So far, thank you for your advice still be in touch with the outcome.
ParnosCZ
So still nothing.
I do not know how to set it.
In profile everything in metric units, engine capacity, vehicle weight, fuel and even then manually entered in the profile OBD II then check auto-scan protocol Thorought
Even after all the program at startup real. scan. Do not connect
So I mean that in the status bar to see the connection but does not know yet if I'll like some advice.
Thank you.
Will work on this
Hi
Unfortunately on that unit tt won't work. You will need the Torque enabled Ca-Fi unit (which are available from Ca-Fi directly). This is because the bluetooth in the unit you have linked to is configured for host, not client mode, which removes it's ability to connect to an adapter using bluetooth
I can be caused by wrong protocol recognition.
Try another app. "Efficiency" or "OBD Dashboard" - they work fine on my 2005 Sorento (and Vgate bluetooth blue dongle) while Torque does not (connection ok but no real time readings)
OBD Dashbord reports ISO 9141 after connection while Torqe tries ISO14230 probably
Looking online, it looks like the Kia Sorento 2003 is ISO 9141. In Vehicle Profile, set to that protocol and try it out.
