I'm experiencing an annoying bug. When I fill up and reset my trip, the long term miles per gallon average resets but then will start resetting with every trip. I've found that I can fix this issue by unchecking/re-checking the trip recording options in the data logging and upload settings.
The options I have in data logging and upload are:
-----------------------------
log when torque is started
only when odb is connected
automatic trip recording
discard trips...
ignore short gaps...
log fuel trip consumed...
------------------------------
Everything else is unchecked.

This bug has persisted for me no matter what I've done. After connecting with my regular phone and noticing that the long term mileage worked fine on it, I think I tracked the problem down to the in-dash settings. After turning off "Allow the phone to sleep" option, the long term mileage no longer tracked the current trip mileage.

To clarify, I think exiting Torque and restarting it between trips fixes the issue. I can accomplish this automatically via tasker, though I would rather not have to.

After several days of exiting torque after each trip the long term mileage has never been reset.
