I just got an obdlink MX yesterday and downloaded the pro version of the app. After a little poking around I found that the boost reading only goes up to around 3 lbs. Searched around and found that this was a pretty common problem. I haven't seen any discussion on the topic since early 2012 though where you suggested that we use the alt calculation in the settings. This did not work BTW 🙂 it was reading far too high foot my stock 335i. Have you figured out the proper settings for this car yet? Am I able to provide anything to you that would help? Let me know!

PS would you happen to know the BMW oil temp PID?

having same problems as you and some other questians (e.g. themechange). But there is not any answer. Think this is definitely the worst forum I ever saw. As soon snow is gone will make some further tests with my ALPINA B3.

The BMW SAE PID maxes out, that is why it won't go any higher. The vehicle won't report anything higher without a BMW specific PID
