Hello !

Bought a DELL Venue 7 the other day and installed Torque PRO. The bluetooth adapter i am using is some China thing that does its job just fine (surprisingly). I integrated the tablet on my dashboard. I also use bluetooth to broadcast music to my player in the car.

Usually, it works fine. I start the car, Torque gets connected, the music player gets connected too, and everything goes well. Unfortunately...not all the time.

When i reach my destination and stop the car, but dont get out of the car and let the music play, after 20 seconds or so, the music stops and along with it, the bluetooth daemon/service or whatever...so i have to restart the tablet. That is very annoying, as all the other functions of the tablet seem to go crazy. It does that on 3 other devices (LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Acer Iconia A1-810)...

I like Torque, but dont like the ideea of manually shutting it off whenever i stop the engine to enjoy my music.

Hi!

On slightly older versions of Android, there is a specific situation that happens where bluetooth stops working (and Torque tries to work around it). This is only for android 2 up to 4.0 though (later versions of android, 4.1 onwards don't have this issue so the fix isn't active) - I think it may be related to your issue here

In the settings->General settings, disable the 'hang fix for HTC/Samsung devices' option
Also, in the Settings->OBD2 adapter settings, disable the 'Auto bluetooth On/Off' setting

This should hopefully stop your issues, if it's what I think it is.

The LG G2 should be the latest version of Android as well. As thats what I run Torque on.
