Hi Ian,
1st of all great app, I have the full version and works well with ebay bluetooth adapter.
only issues I have are that the boost gauge doesnt work, I know that something to do with vag protocol but if you could get this to work, would be very cool. secondly my bhp figures seem to be off. I should be 210 bhp and the highest I got on the app is 188 bhp. I have been as precise as possible with the weight of the car as I took it on a weighbridge and had it weighed. came in at 1300 kgs and I weigh 110 kgs in clothes so I have entered 1410kgs in the vehicle weight. what is the best way to get most precise bhp figures? i.e pedal to metal from a standin start and work through the gears or maybe be in third gear at 1500 rpms and then pedal to the metal to fourth gear.
Oh and any idea for future updates maybe to be able to check other areas of the car like airbag system or the abs for any faults.
Anyways great app, keep up the good works.
thanks
Hi there!
Low speed tests are the best at the moment, from either a standing or slow rolling start, and most importantly don't spin the wheels or it'll over-read your bhp
BHP tests at higher speeds will mean drag becomes a factor - drag co-efficients will be coming in the next release to counter that.
If you're doing the above, and have the weight accurate, then the figures you are getting will be pretty accurate to within a few BHP of a correctly-setup dyno system.

Thanks for the quick reply Ian,
I will try a standing start, will be hard not to spin the wheels and put my foot down too. will look out for the next update.
Thanks again
