OBDII is mostly generic

you can have specific package to access more data , those are using same bus, and language but are not always part of the standard

obdii was for he anti pollution system, it as extended thru the year

now a day car have way more data than just the obdii bus still use the same connector

personnaly i use it to get speed,rpm, flasher, seat belt, exhaust valve position ... so if cop want to try me i have some info lol
