I've actually been experiencing a similar thing with my HTC EVO running gingerbread from sprint. I have tried similar combinations with the bluetooth settings and have the"HTC/Samsung fix" unchecked. But it turns off and on the bluetooth every time it exits Torque. Along with the popup dialog box that says "Please wait whilst Torque shuts down". Although I haven't had this problem at all with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 and have the settings set up the same. The only thing I haven't done yet was factory reset my phone. Any ideas?

Torque's doing that if it knows there's an incompatible bluetooth app installed and is cycling the bluetooth to prevent the device from crashing - usually the app is Pandora, but it checks for a couple of others as well (an ebook reader, and something else that escapes me right now). It does this mainly because people don't read what's on the screen (about the bug) then complain bitterly when their device crashes due to the bluetooth bug

I'll add an advanced setting somewhere in the next update to tell it to not do this, but you may experience lockups/crashes as a result.

Thanks Ian for the quick reply, The other app your talking about is vlingo. I actually use that app, but I've set it up to not use bluetooth so it doesn't trigger the reset.

Ah, okay. I had Pandora installed but never once used it. Just uninstalled it and power cycled my phone. Same results. 🙁 If, when you have a chance, you could let us know which specific apps Torque is checking for when it assumes it should cycle Bluetooth, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Edit: Okay, so I'm reading more on the forum now and it seems it could be any number of things. I will just assume that I will have to deal with the Bluetooth being cycled once I exit Torque.
