HI, i just got my bluetooth adapter thro today, admittedly it is an 'el cheapo' off ebay, but there appears to be a few things that dont work.

1: Turbo boost, I have read thro the forums and see there are some issues with vag cars not showing boost levels, is there a fix comming for this as i have used a liquid gauge before connected to the obd2 port and that worked fine.

2: Intake pressure, no info showing.

3: Volts, no info showing.

4: Fuel pressure, no info showing

5: MPG, no info showing.

Also, i have gone into read ECU fault codes (I know 100% there will be at least 1 fault for secondary air system) but it shows no faults at all?.

Other than everything else works fine. If it would be possible to have a look at these issues and maybe get them working then i would be more than happy to upgrade to the full paid version of Torque.

Thanks in advance.

I dont think the author has been around for a while.

With regard to the secondary air system fault that not be recorded in the engine management system so might not be something torque would check for in the same way that it wont show faults with the airbag systems etc...

If you wanted to check for other faults then the free version of VCDS should work ( http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds-lite/download/index.html)

The author has been quite ill with the flu thats going around 🙂

Turbo pressure is something I'm going to be looking at after the January update (which is currently taking quite a bit of my time) - VAG cars seems to depend on MAF sensors not the MAP sensor so its a little annoying as I'm going to have to synthesize the value somehow, or discover extended PIDs that might contain the values you want.

You may be lucky - if you can find the extended PIDs for Audi/VW then you should be able to enter them into Torque and get the readings you need - the format of an extended PID looks something like:

Mode/PID, Data bytes returned, formula, description, min, max, units
0x01 0x02, 4, (A+B)*C+D, Turbo Encabulator ,0, 100, K

Also if you do find any extra info, consider pointing me towards it and I may well be able to add the lists predefined into torque so others can benefit! 🙂

Regards,

Ian
