I don't know how to add a new post as there seems to be no tab for it so I am tagging onto this one as it is the same question. I only joined to ask this question. I bought an adapter as a gift for my son without thinking he has an iPhone, so I wanted to find out if Torque is available for iphone, but I see by the posts that it is not. Has there been any answers as t whether an iphone app is planned? Thanks -DN

Hi!

At the moment torque isn't being developed for the iPhone, it is only developed for Android (this lets me concentrate on a single set of platforms)

This may change in the future however

Hi!

It's not, as I have never done an apple version - do you have a link?

FreedomRydr,

You should get your son a Samsung Tab 4 (7") model w/ just Wi-Fi. I use that for my Torque Apps and it's only abut $170 in the US. Works great and can't have enough devices!

I guess it's OK to retrieve a month old post. 🙂

Anybody that abandons Android for iOS shouldn't (oops I almost stopped there) throw the Android away. There's no reason you can't continue to use Torque on the now WiFi only device. You don't need cellular data for Torque. Any logs, etc. you want to upload will upload via WiFi.

I've been using Torque on a rooted Barnes and Noble nook 9" HD+ for years. No cellular data GPS via Garmin 10X BT adapter.

Admin: 1. I know this is REAL old (probably already resolved...)

It is NAMED OBD Fusion by OCTech, LLC however, I was duped into the impression it was Torque PRO ( was listed as such) for $9.99 on IOS. Of course my OBD2 BT won't connect to the iPhone...
It has a different interface BUT, as I said it was listed as Torque PRO in the apple store, with your (or like yours) symbol...
Wouldn't doubt some reverse eng... yeah, maybe I shouldn't take it there. I would look into it though...

I would have thought Ian would have
announced entering that market here
which to my knowledge Ian has not.

Just curious, Ian is a one man show... whose
name did you say was associated with that apple
market app? Ian's? That should be a clue and a warning
until Ian responds.

According to this thread its not behaving
like Torque Pro...

Hello there!

Right now torque isn't being created for the iPhone, it is produced for Android (this gives me a chance to focus on a solitary arrangement of stages)

This may change later on in any case.
