Hi,

I am not getting a fan speed for my 2013 Ford F250 6.7l Powerstroke Diesel pickup. When I test the PID (22099f) I receive the following response: 7E8037F2231 . I am not sure what this means. Does anyone else have this issue? I can provide more information as needed to troubleshoot this issue if you'll let me know what you need. The Fan Speed Sensor works on my 2005 Ford F250 with the 6.0l Powerstroke, and would like it for my 6.7l.

Thank you,

David

Hi!

7F is the negative response code for when the ECU will not fulfull the request over OBD2.  This is usually because the PIDs are different between different model years of vehicle. so you may need to find the correct PID for the newer vehicle if it has changed

Thank you for your reply!. I have searched the web, and haven't found any other PID for the Fan Speed Sensor. Do you have any suggestions on where else to look? My Google prowess isn't the greatest and would appreciate any other insight.

Thank you.
