Hi,

just purchased torque.

I'm trying to find the syntax for the custom pid. I have a scanguage and can use their custom PID to monitor it, but the formatting is different from what Torque wants. Any suggestions?

thanks

You can use this this link as a guide for converting Scangauge X-gauge PID's over to Torque Custom PID's.

This works to read transmission temperature in my 1999 4Runner:

OBD2 Mode and PID: 01b4
Long name: Trans Temp
Short name: ATF
Minimum value: 0.0
Maximum value: 125
Scale factor: x1
Unit type: C
Equation: A-40
