If it worked ounce then the phone should say under bluetooth conections 'Paired but not connected'...

The only thing i can sugest is start the programme up again plug the elm327 back in and try again if it worked with 1234 and it has with my elm327, then it should again.

The elm327 i am using is the second i have ordered as the first did not want to pair at all...a clone i don't know all the trafic lights worked on it but it dosn't want to initiate.

Unpair the adapter and reboot the phone

Then attempt to re-pair it to the adapter again. Make sure no OBD2 software is running at this point.

If you are unable to re-pair the adapter to the phone, then it usually means that either something else has connected to it (the adapters only allow one connection at a time then will ignore all other connection/pairing attempts) Or that the radio module in the unit has failed.

The adapter you have is known for the radio modules sometimes giving up and ceasing to function. This will typically manifest as being unable to pair the device to the phone in the android settings. Unfortunately that means you'll need to replace the adapter
